DAARTT (Danish Assistance to Afghan Rehabilitation and Technical Training) is a Danish based organization established in Afghanistan by the Danish People’s Aid (DPA) in 2003.

The organization is specialized in construction and has so far built more than 200 schools, clinics and other buildings in Afghanistan. DAARTT is also engaged in humanitarian and development activities supporting the most vulnerable groups/population of the country. DAARTT got and maintains membership with ACBAR and several technical clusters; such as WASH, Education, ES/NFI and Health clusters.

1. Representing DAARTT in the provincial level at all Governmental and non-Governmental organizations
2. Solving conflict arising in the provincial office level
3. Provincial office’s primary contact person for DAARTT Kabul office and other stakeholders
4. Supervising the provincial office and the project implementation progress and providing suitable advice to site engineers.
5. Explaining the technical and managerial guidelines from Kabul office to all site engineers and other staff, also making sure of its properly accomplishment.
6. Reporting any incidents/considerable issues happen in the provincial office or projects sites.
7. Initiating the primary stages of purchasing provincial office supplies, project material, tools, services etc. (Instruct the relevant staff of preparing purchase requisition and collecting quotations according to the policy for further processing in Kabul office)
8. Controlling the operation and running cost in the provincial office and projects’ context
9. Providing periodic pictured progress report to Kabul office Monitoring section. (the reporting period will be determined by Kabul office)
10. Providing Consumption Report of all projects’ materials, tools and other    expenses (Format would be provided).
11. Checking and controlling quality, accuracy and quantity of Monitoring and work process in all projects.
12. Responsible for implementation of Monitoring work based on the approved work plan.
13. The incumbent is responsible to receive instructions and report to two chains of commands

1. At least a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and minimum 5 years’ experience with supervision of construction projects implementation.
2. Experience with quality control and monitoring projects. 
3. Fluency in Farsi and/or Pashto. Good oral and written English skill.
4. Good computer skills.
5. Master degree holders in Civil engineering are highly encouraged to apply.
