Job Descriptions:

IT + Western Union Assistant is responsible to make sure that connectivity link, VPN, CISCO Switch, of branch is normal and connected with HQ, also responsible take  Back up of  CCTV cameras and perform money send and receive transactions of customers through western union.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Branch IT related responsibilities:

  • The IT officer is responsible to test and maintain the existing LAN, WAN (Internet) network in the Branch.
  • Manage users operation, Install & update antivirus software, Windows updates.
  • Train as required other personnel on usage of MS. Office package and Internet.
  • Provide monthly Activity report to the IT Department. 
  • Installing & Trouble shooting of all IT related equipment (Printer, Scanner, Copier, computer, switches etc…
  • To ensure that equipment is maintained and functioning properly.
  • Monitoring speed of the network and use of the internet facilities by the users for the betterment of a well-functioning of internet system facility in the regional office.
  • To ensure that; the internet system is efficient for the number of users; and the distributed IP addresses do have required speed as per the contract based with the (ISP) internet service provider.
  • The IT officer will also help and work in network. Design/plan for the expansion or enhancement of the network infrastructure.
  • To ensure that all useful software is installed in computer if not he should install.
  • Make sure that the admin password should not be revealed to anyone else in the branch or outside and everyone uses respective log in accounts.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
  • Taking daily Backup of CCTV System. Installing and upgrading CCTV System.
  • Trouble shooting and maintenance of CCTV System.
  • To ensure that CCTV System is running smoothly without any issue.

Western Union:

  • Ensure that customers receive excellent services by providing quick and accurate information and processing the requests as efficient as possible.
  • Daily transaction (Sending and Receiving money) through western union system.
  • Daily checking of system of western union (UPDATING).
  • Before doing any transaction check the client name on sanction list and blacklist.
  • Recording of daily files.
  • Reporting of daily transaction to main branch.
  • Assist with CSO/DY-BM/BM of the branch in daily branch activities.
  • Punctuality. (Follow official working time schedule properly).
  • Behave in a professional way with all the colleagues and customers of the branch.
  • Confidentiality of customer account and personal information.
  • Ensure all the policies of BMA have implemented.
  • Complete and comprehensive knowledge of BMA products, services.
  • Any other task, duty assigned by line manager.

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent communication & Writing skills (Pashto, Dari, English)
  • Proficiency in IT Related Programs (Network, CCTV, System….)
  • Excellent customer behavior, customer satisfaction, & customer relationship skills.
