Bank-e-Millie Afghan (BMA) was the first financial institution established in Afghanistan in 1933. Similarly, it was the first financial institution established in a public-private partnership set up with 72% share held by the private sector. As a first bank in Afghanistan, BMA introduced formal banking services to the people and government of Afghanistan. The  risk officer shall be primary responsible to assist the Deputy CRO, and will work closely with the IT sections to ensure that all risks are identified, monitored and reported to the relevant body. 

Duties Explanation:

1. To develop a comprehensive IT risk assessment policy & procedure with top-down and bottom-up approach
2. To develop key risk indicators (KRIs) for IT risk assessment
3. To perform risk assessment of IT sections regularly or deemed appropriate
4. To follow-up on risk observations with IT section
5. To develop & improve disaster recovery plan
6. To prepare risk assessment report for risk committee
7. To prepare risk analysis report on other key risks of bank with other risk officers in the department.
8. To implement and perform risk control self assessment (RSCA) model.
9. Any other task or duty assigned by the line manager

1. Education level : Minimum Bachelor in computer science (BCs), Master’s will be given preference.
2. Experience : Minimum 4 years IT related experience, high experience will be given preference
3. Skills: Problem solving, Analytical, good reporting skills, good presentation skills.
4. Certifications: CCNA or CCNP, Any Oracle or SQL certificate, Any other recognized certificate
