MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
The Logistics Management Information System (LMIS) Data Quality Assurance (DQA) Senior Officer will be primarily responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, consistency, validity, and reliability of the data gleaned through mSupply. This role involves developing and implementing data quality standards in the form of guidelines and standard operating procedures, conducting data analysis, identifying data quality issues, and closely collaborating with relevant stakeholders to strengthen their capacity to address them. Additionally, he/she will be responsible for developing and maintaining data quality dashboards, reports, and metrics to monitor data quality trends and performance indicators.
Technical:
The Data Quality Assurance Senior Officer will closely work with the AFIAT technical teams, the BPHS/EPHS implementers, and other relevant stakeholders. The activities will include:
Develop and implement data quality standards, processes, and procedures to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Perform data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues, anomalies, and trends.
Develop and maintain data quality dashboards, reports, and metrics to monitor data quality trends and performance indicators.
Investigate and resolve data quality issues by conducting root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and working closely with relevant NGOs, and provinces.
Design and execute data cleansing and enrichment activities to improve data quality.
Conduct regular audits and assessments of quality of the data stored in mSupply.
Collaborate with data owners, and data users to define and document data quality requirements and metrics.
Provide guidance and training to the relevant stakeholders on data quality best practices and standards.
Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to data quality management.
Collaborate with relevant teams, AFIAT’s Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) team and a contractor of mSupply, to ensure data quality controls are integrated into data systems and processes.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Management, Statistics, or a related field.
With master’s degree 4 years of related experience, and with a bachelor’s degree at least 6 years of experience is required.
