Noor Afroz Exploration and Oil and Gas Drilling Company is seeking qualified and motivated Afghan engineer to join its technical team and contribute to oil and gas exploration, field development, drilling, production, and processing activities in Afghanistan. The company aims to strengthen local technical capacity by providing opportunities for Afghan engineers to work alongside experienced international specialists, gain practical experience, and develop their professional skills through technical cooperation and knowledge transfer.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Assist
international specialists in technical activities related to the assigned
discipline.
- Review,
organize, and maintain technical documents, reports, and project data.
- Support
the collection, analysis, and interpretation of technical information, as
applicable to the position.
- Assist
in preparing technical reports, work plans, progress updates, and
presentations.
- Participate
in technical meetings and coordinate with relevant project team members.
- Support
field assessments, technical inspections, and project activities when
required.
- Follow
technical instructions, established procedures, and project requirements.
- Participate
in on-the-job training and knowledge-transfer activities.
- Contribute to the development of local technical expertise in the oil and gas sector.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A
bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline, such
as Petroleum Engineering, Geology, Geophysics, Drilling Engineering,
Production Engineering, or Chemical/Process Engineering.
- Basic
technical knowledge relevant to the position applied for.
- Ability
to read technical documents, collect and organize data, and prepare
reports.
- Good
communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness
to learn from international specialists and develop practical technical
competencies.
- Ability
to work responsibly and professionally in an office or field environment,
as required by the position.

Geologist / Junior Geologist – Geology and Field Development Supervisor

Production Supervisor – Oil Production and Field Operations

Seismic Supervisor – Geophysics, Seismic Data Processing and
Interpretation
- Assistant
Drilling Supervisor – Drilling and Well Completion
- Assistant
Well Workover and Intervention Supervisor – Well Repair, Intervention and
Restoration
- Assistant
Oil Processing Supervisor – Oil Processing and Production Facilities

Language Requirements
- Knowledge
of Farsi and/or Pashto for effective communication in the local working
environment.
- Basic
or good proficiency in English is an advantage.
Knowledge of Russian will be considered a significant advantage, particularly for communication and cooperation with Russian-speaking international specialists.
