About RRAA:

Rural Rehabilitation Association for Afghanistan (RRAA) is a non-profit, non-governmental, and non-political NGO established in 1990. The head office of the organization is located in Kabul, Afghanistan, and delivers humanitarian services in the sectors of Livelihood, Good Governance, WASH, and Emergency through its four regional offices in Mazar, Herat, Jalalabad, and the central zone in a decentralized manner

Data quality assurance officer is responsible to preserve quality of reports submitted by field staffs (MoDA, KoboToolbox, compliance check, PDM, daily report etc.).

• Performing M&E data analysis, tests on large datasets to determine data quality and integrity.
• Evaluating system performance and design, as well as its effect on data quality.
• Collaborating with field staffs to improve projects field data collections and storage processes.

• Provide assistance, advice, and arrange training with HR/CB Officer for project staff on data quality improvement.
• Compare data in the system with original documents.
• Compare data from different sources, assess its quality and decide upon the official
• Report about the data quality to the line manager

• Check the quality of data regularly.

• Regular contact with reporting officer and team leaders regarding the M&E data quality issues.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned by project manager, provincial manager and regional manager.
• Contribute to the Operational plan for project implementation at the provincial level to ensure necessary planning and implementation take place smoothly and efficiently.
• Conduct timely monitoring of project to ensure correct measurement of results, outcomes and impacts and to facilitate learning towards continuous improvements in the delivery of project in RRAA
• Identify and inform the project manager and Programme teams of successes, challenges and lessons learned.
• Work closely with the Field staff, team leaders and other project staff ensuring efficient and effective implementation is taken place.
• Ensure the effective functioning and implementation of the accountability to affected population.
• Ensure timely information on progress and results is available by compiling, organizing, analyzing, monitoring, and preparing data for situation reports and other reporting and communications products including pictures and videos from project activities.
• Any other duties given by the line manager

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, statistics, mathematics, computer science, information management, or similar.
• At least 3 years of experience in M&E Section, or project data analysis with national and or international organizations.
• Extensive experience with statistical packages, such as MS Excel, SAS, and SPSS
• Exceptional analytical skills.
• Advanced problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of best practices in data analysis.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluency in spoken and written Dari, Pashtu and English is Highly Desirable.
• Willingness to work in challenging environments.
• Ability to travel to targeted provincial offices and targeted districts.
