Job Description

Important Notice

This Call for CVs is issued for the purpose of identifying and collecting CVs of qualified candidates for a proposed UNDP-funded project. The position is subject to project approval and funding confirmation. Submission of a CV does not constitute an offer of employment or guarantee of recruitment.

Job Purpose

The officer will support skills mapping and profiling of targeted individuals, facilitate job matching, and manage project information and databases to support evidence-based project implementation and employment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a database of beneficiaries, skills profiles, employment preferences, and job opportunities.
  • Conduct skills mapping and profiling of targeted individuals.
  • Collect information on education, skills, work experience, and employment interests.
  • Identify skills gaps and potential areas for skills development.
  • Maintain an updated database of employers, businesses, vacancies, and employment opportunities.
  • Support matching qualified candidates with suitable employment opportunities.
  • Coordinate with employers, businesses, training providers, and project staff.
  • Ensure accurate and timely entry and updating of project data.
  • Maintain MIS and data management systems.
  • Generate database summaries and reports for project management and M&E purposes.
  • Ensure data quality, confidentiality, security, and proper documentation.
  • Track and document job placements and employment outcomes.
  • Support development of dashboards and data summaries where required.
  • Coordinate with the Livelihoods Officer, Market Linkage Officer, and Monitoring and Reporting Officer.
  • Perform other relevant duties assigned by the Project Manager.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  •            Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, software engineering, information management, labour economics, or related fields.
  •            Minimum five years of relevant experience in digital databases, registration systems, MIS, dashboards, or labour-market platforms.
  •             Experience in data flow management, reporting, user support, and troubleshooting required.
  • Good English required.
