WORLD is a non-government, non-political and non-profit development organization that is established by a group of young and energetic people who were highly motivated and committed for contributing their time, skills and energies for the development and empowerment of socially disadvantaged and vulnerable communities in Afghanistan to address poverty and gender based discriminations.

WORLD  currently works across all 15 provinces of Afghanistan including Ghor, Nangarhar, Kunar, Laghman, Nuristan, Khost, Paktya, Kunduz, Mazar,  Kapisa and Parwan, particularly research, health emergency, Gender-Based Violence and other public health activities. Our existing donors included UN-agencies, Embassies and Government bodies.

WORLD believes that networking, collective efforts, sharing of knowledge, resources and   information is   a   key   to   the   success   as   for   addressing   the developmental issues and challenges. Keeping this critical fact in mind; the organization always tries to join all such forums and networks that directly link to its mission and objectives. WORLD could also be labeled as an implementing organization which aims to designs and implements various developmental projects with the financial and technical support of international donor agencies and the government

The Medical Doctor (Male) is a crucial role responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients at the Health Facility. This position plays a key role in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions, delivering primary healthcare services, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

•    Act according to the policy and regulations of WORLD
•    Keep updated with issues related to WORLD and health section in particular
•    Promote gender orientation  and attitude of team spirit throughout the sphere of work
•    Refrain form unkind behaviors, attitude and statement which discriminate against others
•    Promote a strong focus on quality among member of the unit
•    Do related job as delegated by the health manager and/or chief officers of health
•    In case of resignation WORLD to be notified at least one month in advance to facilitate planning.
•    To represent the Program Manager in the Project area.
•    To assume the responsibility for the management of the project health activities in the target area
•    To provide technical guidance and support to the staff of the health facilities in the cluster area
•    To apply the project policies, guidelines and quality assurance measures
•    To maintain updated information on the project catchment’s area and the project progress
•    To participate in the project management meeting
•    To submit a monthly report to the Program Manager
•    To build strong relationship and to maintain strong links with the communities
•    To frequently visit, monitor and supervise the activities at project level
•    To discuss and finalize local action plans for the health activities of the health management team and the health facilities
•    To contribute in the project planning exercises
•    To oversee the financial and the logistics activities at the project level.
