Afghan Invest Is the name behind one of the largest and most diversified consortiums in Afghanistan. In fact, it is a hub where some of the largest manufacturing and services companies come to gather to invest and operate the largest mining operations in Afghanistan by their own Afghan Capacities. The Afghan Invest Consortium is composed of 13 companies that are committed to sharing a common goal and vision toward sustainable growth for our country.

Afghan Invest is officially operated in Mid-2022 while each company under its cover has more the 10 years of experience within the Afghanistan Industry and Economy. The Practice area of the consortium includes but is not limited to the areas of Mining, Agriculture, and industry.

Duties

• The QA engineer will be responsible for checking that the work is done in accordance with technical specifications and method statements.
• Process the quality plan. Process the QC form and Joint Measurement Certificates.
• Implement the 3 week look ahead schedule.
• Ensure that the foundation and erection drawings are used properly at the site during construction.
• Check the tower stub setting.
• Checking that steel fixing and foundation casting is done properly and is in accordance with approved design and technical specifications.
• Check the tower grounding system.
• Check conductor and OPGW stringing.
• Check that the drum schedule is implemented at the site.
• Able to check the cross-section drawings and ground clearance.
• Having good knowledge of required tests for concrete casting.
• Having knowledge of OPGW splicing.
• Knowledge of OTDR machine.
• Prepare a daily record of work progress at sites and update the project manager about work progress on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.

Qualification:

• Must have a BSc. of Civil Engineering or Electrical engineering with 5 years of related experience.
• Competent in reading and understanding Specifications, and drawings, and reviewing design and all other disciplines related to the Project and engineering documentation.
• Good communication skills and fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Good computer skills (Ms. Office and Technical Engineering Software).
