About Tabish Social Health Education organization:

The Organization of TABISH in Afghanistan is a non-governmental, non-political, not for  profit organization and humanitarian organization working in the field of psycho-social health, education as well as capacity development, and its activities are based on NGOs rules and regulations and others governmental procedure approved  by  the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan laws. TABISH has been established and registered with the Ministry of Economy (Reg # 1466) in 2009 and it has been registered with the Ministry of Public Health of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in 2012.
Currently Tabish providing mental health, Psychosocial, basic health /hygienic support, safe motherhood and CHW /TBA training for disadvantage population within IDP camps.
Tabish has plan to recruit Medical Doctor who have experiences  in trauma center such Orthopedic Surgery as well could conduct training of fist aid   for upcoming short term  project, to work with in Kabul and around provinces

Job Descriptions:

  • Identify/select the children who needs specialized services through referral services. 
  • Review reports of an alleged case of abuse or neglect.
  • Investigate the case through interviews with key people, including children, parents, other relatives, and medical providers.
  • Plan and coordinate services to help children and their families.
  • Provide information about the existing services and updated services based on service mapping.
  • Fill and maintaining case history reports in password protected database.
  • Interviewing clients to assess their situational needs.
  • Determine which services and assistance are necessary.
  • Serve as a liaison between the client and other service providers.
  • Call for case management for each individual with a need of multiple services;
  • In coordination with the case management supervisor, child protection officer, refer the cases to other service providers for responding beneficiaries with protection concerns.
  • Produce and maintain accurate records of the beneficiaries cases, keep all case documents locked/protected and confidential.
  • Provide referral of beneficiaries for additional assistance, as needed, to internal and external service providers;
  • Conduct psychosocial information awareness raising sessions in the targeted communities;
  • Engage the men and women of the community in discussions around women’s rights and psychosocial problems;
  • Identify problems with psychosocial and access to services and provide recommendation to mitigate them;
  • SupportTABISH staff on how to identify signs of possible abuse affecting the beneficiaries at the community level to encountered through outreach and awareness raising activities

Job Requirements:

  • University degree in Health, Psychology or Social sciences,
  • An understanding of the basic principles of humanitarian work, human rights, protection, and the needs of internally displaced persons and refugees in Afghanistan.
  • Interest in humanitarian work and human rights, ability and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to clearly express one’s thoughts, to analyze and present information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to set priorities and show initiative, to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
