About Asia Chain Laboratoary
Asia Lab medical
diagnosis chain laboratories established in 2017 and launched its branches in
the different provinces of Afghanistan such as Kabul, Herat, Kandahar,
Mazar-e-Sharif, Ghor, Takhar, etc. Asia Lab started its operation under the
authorization of Ministry of Public Health of Afghanistan. Asia Lab is suppling
high quality diagnosis services across Afghanistan by benefiting from the
skilled and knowledgeable personnel.
These laboratories are
supplying services in the different sections including Hematology, Clinical
Chemistry, Microbiology, Immunology, Parasitology, Serology, Mycology,
Endocrinology, Histology, Pathology, PCR, Virology, Enzymology and blood bank.
Asia Lab has been
equipped to the modern laboratory machinery and equipment and by using the
newest diagnosis methods, is trying to improve medical diagnosis in
Afghanistan.
We believe that the professionalism and commitment are very significant to reach to our positive objectives therefore; we always inspire our managers and skilled personnel to motivate them and create loyalty and commitment to the society. Undoubtedly, enhancing of knowledge of the personnel, will create improvement in term of the more precise and accurate diagnosis, therefore we always arrange educational programs for all of our personnel to increase their knowledge about how operate the machinery to be able to get more accurate results.
Job Description
- Punctual attendance at the workplace
and performing duties until the end of work.
- Daily inspection of all equipment
& Machines before starting work.
- Performing laboratory tests with
high accuracy and quality according to doctors’ instructions (patient
request forms).
- Ensuring proper storage of
laboratory materials, recording consumables, and restocking supplies on
time.
- Maintaining personal hygiene, as
well as cleanliness of the lab room, materials, and equipment.
- Reporting test results to the
laboratory management.
- Proper identification and storage of
normal, hazardous, and explosive materials in designated cabinets.
- Timely reporting and disposal of
expired laboratory materials after completing administrative procedures.
- Ensuring communication and
coordination among laboratory units.
- Preventing errors in tests through
proper planning.
- Strict adherence to safety
principles against physical, chemical, and biological hazards.
- Consistent implementation of
infection prevention standards and other laboratory guidelines.
- Actively improving professional
knowledge in line with modern practices.
- Active participation in evaluations
and established standards within the relevant department.
- Transferring professional skills to
colleagues during work.
- Striving to increase revenue and
achieve set targets.
- Maintaining confidentiality and not
disclosing any information encountered during work.
- Performing any other duties assigned
by laboratory management.
Job Requirements
- Graduate of Medical Technology.
- Flexibility and ability to work
under pressure and meeting of deadlines
- 2 years of experience in related fields.
- Proficiency in performing and
interpreting Microbiology laboratory tests, including
culture, microorganism identification, antimicrobial susceptibility
testing (AST), and other microbiological diagnostic procedures.
- Proficiency in performing Hormonal
(Endocrinology) laboratory tests using laboratory analyzers while
ensuring compliance with quality control procedures and laboratory
standards.
- Proficiency in performing Hematology
laboratory tests,
including Complete Blood Count (CBC), peripheral blood smear examination,
coagulation tests, and other hematology diagnostic procedures.
- Proficiency in performing a wide
range of laboratory tests and procedures.
- Ensuring accuracy in sample
handling, testing, and reporting results.
- Proficiency in performing and
interpreting Microbiology laboratory tests, including
culture, microorganism identification, antimicrobial susceptibility
testing (AST), and other microbiological diagnostic procedures.
