The Organization for Women Empowerment (OWE) was established in 2014 as a non-profit and development organization - registered with the NGO Department of the Ministry of Economy, the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. OWE aims to help impoverished communities, particularly women, youth, and children, gain social, economic and political potency by raising awareness, building capacity, educational and vocational skills training, and creating professional opportunities. OWE is a women’s organization for women. OWE's learning experience as a development organization comes from its working association with communities in different areas of Afghanistan. More importantly, OWE is one of the successful organizations in the community, NGO Coordination Bureau, and region.
Scope of work:
The Master Trainer (MT) is a member of the Education Project team at the Regional Management Offices (RMO) level. In cooperation with the team members, s/he is responsible for the capacity development of CBE teachers, district and provincial education department staff, and Teachers Elected Councils (TECs) members in line with the OWE Education Policy, directives and work plans. S/he is responsible for assisting the project and his/her reporting line is the education senior training officer (STO). Master trainers should contribute to the planning, budgeting, monitoring, evaluations, implementation, and reporting of OWE education project-related activity.
Master trainers are directly responsible for the quality of education in the CBE program and should support education field supervisors in field visits, salary distribution to the CBE teachers, and capacity development of CBE teachers through job training, they also help STO in developing professional content for teachers training courses, capacity building of provincial & district level staffs of education department, data collection and follow up of the trained teachers for improving quality of learning outcomes in OWE supported educational field facilities. S/he monitors the schools and training courses, compiles information, prepares reports and makes suggestions for improvement. S/he conducts regular visits to the education project sites and spends at least 80% of his/her official time in the field while monitoring the capacity development interventions and following the desired changes. S/he provides training manuals and academic notes as well as methodical materials for different types of training.

This position is partially commissioned-based and will be compensated on performance.
