Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Content
Creator & Social Media Manager to join our marketing team. This is
a hybrid role requiring a unique blend of creative, technical, and strategic
skills.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end production of all visual and written content across our digital platforms. This includes graphic design, video production, copywriting, and community management. Crucially, this role is fully equipped—the candidate must possess their own professional-grade hardware (laptop, camera, lighting, etc.) and software to execute tasks independently from day one.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Content Creation & Design
·
Conceptualize, design, and produce high-quality static graphics,
carousels, infographics, and animated assets for social media and digital
advertising.

Create and edit short-form video content (Reels, TikToks,
YouTube Shorts, Facebook) including filming, trimming, color grading, audio
mixing, and motion graphics.
·
Ensure all visual content aligns with brand guidelines and
maintains a cohesive aesthetic.
B. Copywriting & Storytelling
·
Write compelling, engaging, and on-brand captions, headlines,
and scripts that drive audience engagement and conversions.
·
Adapt tone of voice for different platforms (e.g., professional
for LinkedIn, casual for Instagram/TikTok).
·
Proofread and edit all copy to ensure accuracy and grammatical
precision.
C. Social Media Management & Strategy
·
Manage the daily publishing schedule across all social media
channels.
·
Monitor trends, competitor activity, and audience insights to
inform content strategy.
·
Track and report on key performance metrics (reach, engagement,
conversion) and adjust tactics accordingly.
·
Engage with the online community by responding to comments and
messages in a timely manner.
Job Requirements
3. Required Equipment
As this is a fully self-sufficient role, the candidate must own and maintain the following equipment:
· Laptop/Computer: A high-performance machine (Mac or PC) capable of running video editing and design software smoothly (minimum 16GB RAM, dedicated GPU preferred).
· Camera Equipment: A professional-grade camera (DSLR, Mirrorless, or high-end smartphone with professional lenses/stabilization), tripod, and lighting setup.
· Software: Proficiency and licensed access to the Adobe Creative Cloud suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) or equivalent industry-standard tools (e.g., Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Canva Pro).
4. Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience
· Relevant Qualification in in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Film, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
· Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in content creation, social media management, or a similar multi-disciplinary creative role.
Technical Skills
· Advanced proficiency in video editing and graphic design software.
· Strong understanding of social media algorithms, best practices, and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social, Later).
· Basic knowledge of SEO and keyword research for social copy is a plus.
Soft Skills
· Exceptional storytelling and visual communication skills.
· Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
· Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
· Adaptable and open to feedback.
5. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
· Growth in follower count and engagement rate across platforms.
· Quality and consistency of visual assets produced per week.
· Adherence to the content calendar and project deadlines.
