Job Description

Job Summary:
The Core Business Management Trainer is responsible for designing and delivering practical training sessions on basic business management for women entrepreneurs and small business owners. The trainer will build participants’ skills in business planning, financial management, record keeping, marketing, customer relations, and operational management. The role focuses on delivering participatory, practical, and result-oriented training that supports participants to improve and sustain their businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design and deliver Core Business Management training sessions for women entrepreneurs and

     small business owners.

· Facilitate interactive and participatory training using practical exercises, case studies, and  

     group discussions.

· Train participants in business planning, basic financial management, record keeping,

    marketing, customer service, and operations management.

· Develop and use training materials, handouts, and simple business tools tailored to

   participants’ needs.

· Support participants in applying learned skills to their own business activities.

· Assess participants’ learning progress and provide continuous feedback and coaching.

· Maintain attendance records, training reports, and documentation of sessions.

· Identify training gaps and recommend improvements for future capacity-building activities.

· Coordinate with project staff to ensure effective implementation of training activities.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Management, or related field    

   (master’s preferred).

· At least 3–5 years of experience in business training, entrepreneurship development, or SME

   support programs.

· Strong knowledge of small business management, financial literacy, and marketing principles.

· Proven experience in delivering participatory and adult learning training methodologies.

· Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.

· Ability to design training materials and practical exercises.

· Experience working with women entrepreneurs or community-based training programs is an advantage.

· Fluency in local languages (Pashto/Dari) and basic English is required.
