Job Summary

Tal Waddan Consultancy Services (TWCS) is seeking qualified and experienced Trainer/Facilitators for six specialized positions in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Solar Installation and Maintenance, Water Purification and Conservation, Graphic Design, Digital Marketing and Research Strategies, and E-Commerce. The selected candidates will be responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating competency-based and practical training programs aimed at equipping adolescents and youth with market-driven skills that enhance employability, entrepreneurship, and sustainable livelihood opportunities. The trainers will ensure quality training delivery, maintain training records, and promote inclusive, participatory, and safe learning environments across project locations in Kandahar, Helmand, and Nimroz provinces.

1. Trainer/Facilitator – Early Childhood Education (ECE) – TWCS/VA/001

Duty Station: Kandahar, Helmand, and Nimroz Provinces

Job Summary:
The Early Childhood Education (ECE) Trainer/Facilitator is responsible for delivering competency-based training on child-centered and play-based learning approaches. The position aims to strengthen the capacity of educators and caregivers to provide safe, inclusive, and quality early learning opportunities for young children.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Primary Education, or a related field.

Experience:
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in early childhood education, teaching, or facilitating learning activities for young children. Experience in community-based education programs is an asset.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of child-centered and play-based learning methodologies.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills.

2. Trainer/Facilitator – Solar Installation and Maintenance – TWCS/VA/002

Duty Station: Kandahar, Helmand, and Nimroz Provinces

Job Summary:
The Solar Installation and Maintenance Trainer/Facilitator is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating hands-on technical training programs focused on solar energy systems, including photovoltaic (PV) installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety protocols. The position aims to equip adolescent and youth trainees (age 15–24) with market-relevant, job-ready skills in renewable energy and climate resilience, and support their linkage to internship and employment opportunities.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Solar PV Technology, or a related field.

Experience:
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant hands-on experience in solar PV installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting (off-grid or hybrid systems). At least 2 years of experience in delivering technical or vocational training, preferably for youth (age 15–24). Experience in community-based projects in southern Afghanistan is an asset.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of solar PV system components, wiring, battery banks, charge controllers, inverters, and safety standards.

The Water Purification and Conservation Trainer/Facilitator is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating practical training programs focused on water purification technologies (filtration, chlorination, UV treatment, household disinfection) and water conservation techniques (rainwater harvesting, drip irrigation, groundwater recharge). The position aims to equip adolescent and youth trainees (age 15–24) with market-relevant skills to improve access to safe water, reduce waterborne diseases, and strengthen community climate resilience.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Water and Sanitation (WASH), Environmental Health, Civil Engineering (water focus), or a related field.

Experience:
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant hands-on experience in water purification systems, water quality testing, or water conservation projects. At least 2 years of experience in delivering technical or vocational training, preferably for youth (age 15–24). Experience in community-based WASH projects in southern Afghanistan is an asset.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of low-cost water treatment technologies, water quality parameters, and conservation techniques applicable in rural and drought-prone areas.

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Multimedia, or a related field. A recognized professional diploma in Graphic Design or Digital Media combined with strong industry experience is also acceptable.

Experience:
Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in graphic design (portfolio required). At least 2 years of experience in delivering training or facilitation in digital or creative skills, preferably with youth (age 15–24) and female learners.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field. A recognized professional diploma (e.g., Google Digital Garage, HubSpot Academy) combined with strong practical experience is also acceptable.

Experience:

The position aims to equip adolescent and youth trainees (age 15–24), with priority for girls and young women, with practical, market-driven skills to establish, manage, and scale online businesses using locally relevant products and platforms.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, E-commerce, or Information Technology. A recognized professional diploma (e.g., Shopify Academy, Daraz Seller School) combined with strong hands-on experience is also acceptable.

Experience:
Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in e-commerce operations or online store management, with a proven track record of running or managing an online business. At least 2 years of experience in delivering training or facilitation, preferably for youth (age 15–24) and female learners.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms and digital payment systems.

Job Requirements

Education:
