About the Program

The Odoo ERP Career Accelerator is a career-focused training program designed to prepare Afghan graduates and university students for employment opportunities in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), business operations, digital transformation, and remote work environments.

Participants will receive structured training in Odoo ERP, practical business process management, hands-on projects, career readiness coaching, and professional development support.

Together, we recognize that sustainable rebuilding starts with equipping young Afghans with globally relevant, employable skills.

Under this collaboration, Afghan Relief serves as the enabling partner—providing the funding and outreach infrastructure to ensure that talented undergraduates and graduates, particularly those from underserved communities, have barrier-free access to high-quality professional training. Ripple Impact acts as the knowledge partner, delivering our industry-standard Odoo ERP curriculum, and hands-on mentorship that directly align with current market demands.

By removing financial obstacles and delivering practical, job-oriented training, we aim to create a pipeline of Odoo specialists who can contribute to NGOs, private sector firms, and government institutions across Afghanistan and beyond.

Required Qualifications

• Strong commitment to attend all scheduled training sessions and actively participate throughout the five-month course/program.
• Ability to dedicate sufficient time for self-study, assignments, practical exercises, and project work outside scheduled training hours.
• Demonstrated commitment to completing the program from start to finish and meeting all program requirements.
• Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, professionalism, and willingness to learn.
• Advanced computer literacy and internet skills.
• Interest in business processes, technology, and ERP systems.
• Ability to learn and effectively use new software platforms and digital tools.
• Ability to complete assignments, practical exercises, assessments, and projects within established deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, maintain professional conduct, and demonstrate a professional attitude.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Education

Applicants must have:

• A Bachelor's degree (completed), OR
• Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program and have successfully completed at least one academic year of study.

Applicants from other academic backgrounds with strong motivation and interest in ERP systems, business operations, and digital transformation are also encouraged to apply.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic understanding of business operations.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic knowledge of accounting, business, or information technology.
• Previous internship, volunteer, or work experience is an advantage but not required.

Language Requirements

• Good communication skills in Dari and/or Pashto.
• Ability to read and understand English at a basic to intermediate level.
• Comfortable working with English-language learning materials, training resources, documentation, and software interfaces, as the majority of the Odoo training content and learning materials are provided in English.

Participant Expectations

Selected participants will be expected to:

• Attend scheduled training sessions.
• Complete assignments and practical exercises on time.
• Participate actively in discussions and workshops.
• Maintain professionalism and respectful conduct.
• Work collaboratively with fellow participants.
• Complete the final capstone project and assessments.
