Khawar Kara Construction Company is a nongovernmental development organization originated
in Afghanistan and working in allover of Afghanistan. KKCC specialized
programs are in construction and reconstruction of buildings, Bridges, dams, roads, highways as
well as capacity development in the country.
KKCC has been working closely with national and international donors agencies for the
reconstruction of the war torn Afghanistan. A group of engineers & leaders felt the need to
establish a construction company that could help the international and national donor’s agencies
in the reconstruction of the devastated Afghanistan to spend money fair and transparently. Most
of the local Afghan companies have field to satisfy the international and national donor’s
agencies due to lack of certified technical staff, Quality management, and resources as well. To
satisfy donor’s agencies and give quality construction in time, so KKCC came into being with
the help of certified, experienced professional engineers awarded by international donor
agencies.

Khawar Kara Construction, Road Building and Construction Materials Producing Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance & Accounting Manager to oversee all financial, accounting, and tax operations of the company.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for full financial control of company operations, ensuring accurate reporting of income and expenses, maintaining clean accounting systems, and managing financial compliance for construction projects.

This role requires strong experience in construction-based accounting and the ability to manage complex project financials independently.

• Manage full-cycle accounting operations including general ledger, journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Maintain clean, accurate, and well-organized financial records of all company income, expenses, and project costs.
• Oversee project-wise cost tracking and ensure proper allocation of construction expenses.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for ongoing projects.
• Supervise payroll processing and employee salary records.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of all financial transactions.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of Izhar Nama Maliyati (tax returns) and all other tax obligations.
• Handle coordination with Afghanistan Revenue Department (ARD) and other government authorities.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure full financial compliance.
• Provide financial reports and analysis to support management decision-making.
• shall be able to manage site accountants.
