Job Description:
AWRO is seeking a Full-time M&E / Data Collecting Assistants to assist with monitoring, evaluation, and data collection of its project in Jawzjan province. The M&E assistants will be responsible for field monitoring of all project activities, record observations, and report to supervisor along with recommended mitigations and actions.
TOR:
Each M&E/Data Collecting Assistant will be responsible for the following tasks, but not limited to:
- Regularly monitor project activities in the assigned district to ensure they are aligned with work plans and that targets are met as per project indicators.
- Conduct both qualitative and quantitative monitoring of services delivered by the project
- Support the project team in Post-Distribution Monitoring (PDM) activities.
- Provide accurate data and information to the supervisor for inclusion in M&E reports.
- Consult with and conduct structured interviews with project beneficiaries to evaluate their satisfaction with project services.
- Identify and document success stories and positive impacts resulting from project interventions.
- Record observations from the field and report any findings, concerns, or suggestions to the supervisor in a timely manner.
- Maintain proper records of data collected and ensure data quality and confidentiality.
- Assist in preparing regular M&E reports and data summaries for submission to the M&E Manager.
- Any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Law, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field, or high school diploma with additional two years of experience
- At least 2 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation preferably in humanitarian and emergency response interventions
- Good data collection and analysis skills
- Good understanding of M&E Frameworks, quality standards, and knowledge about health and nutrition standards and indicators
- Familiarity with national health guidelines, and humanitarian principles
- Familiarity with Jawzjan province is preferred
- Good knowledge of Excel and mobile data collection tools
- Good skills in data collection, data analysis, and reporting
- Good communication and interaction skills
