Job Description

  • Manage project budget in compliance with WFP financial rules and regulations
  • Prepare detailed budgets for food distribution, cash-based transfers, and operational costs
  • Track expenditures against approved budgets and provide variance analysis
  • Process payments related to vendors, transporters, and casual labor for distributions
  • Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and supporting documentation for audits
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and final financial reports for submission to management and WFP 

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

Work Experience:

  • 3+ years of finance experience

IT Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Language Skills:

  • Fluent in English.
  • Knowledge of Dari or Pashto is advantageous.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams under pressure.
