Trainers (Male & Female)

Canadian International Community Association (CICA) is a registered non-profit humanitarian and development organization dedicated to empowering vulnerable communities across Afghanistan. CICA works to promote resilience, self-reliance, and sustainable development through integrated interventions in key sectors such as education, digital and vocational skills development, livelihoods, health, and WASH.

With a strong presence in multiple provinces, CICA focuses on enhancing access to quality learning opportunities, particularly for women, youth, and marginalized groups. The organization designs and implements programs that build practical skills, improve employability, and create pathways for income generation, including entrepreneurship and digital economy opportunities.

By working closely with communities, local authorities, and international partners, CICA aims to contribute to long-term social and economic development, while addressing immediate humanitarian needs in underserved areas of Afghanistan.

CICA is seeking qualified and motivated Trainers (Male & Female) to deliver high-quality training in Digital Skills, Life Skills, AI Literacy, E-commerce, and Technical Skills to adolescents and youth. Trainers will play a key role in enhancing participants’ employability and supporting their transition into income-generating opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver training sessions in assigned subjects including:
  • Digital Skills (MS Office, Internet, basic IT)
  • E-commerce (online business, Facebook Marketplace, digital selling)
  • Digital Marketing and Social Media Management
  • Graphic Design (Canva, Photoshop, content creation)
  • AI tools and digital productivity tools
• Prepare lesson plans and training materials in line with project curriculum
• Conduct practical, hands-on training sessions using digital tools and platforms
• Support participants in creating online business profiles and freelancing accounts
• Maintain attendance records and training documentation
• Provide mentorship and coaching to participants
• Conduct pre- and post-training assessments
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and gender-sensitive learning environment
• Coordinate with project team and submit regular reports

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, Education, or related field
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant training or teaching experience
• Strong knowledge of:
  • E-commerce platforms (Facebook Marketplace, online shops, etc.)
  • Digital marketing and social media tools
  • Basic graphic design tools
• Experience in youth training and capacity building programs
• Excellent communication skills (Dari and/or Pashto; English is an asset)
• Ability to work with both male and female participants
• Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in freelancing platforms (Upwork, Fiverr, etc.)
• Knowledge of AI tools (ChatGPT, automation tools, etc.)
• Experience in entrepreneurship or small business development
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills
