About ACDO
Asia Community Development Organization (ACDO) is an Afghan non-governmental, non-political, and non-profit humanitarian organization established in 2014 and registered with the Government of Afghanistan under the supervision of the Ministry of Economy (MoEc) with a mission to provide humanitarian and development assistance to the vulnerable, at-risk, and underserved people throughout the country.
ACDO responds to the needs of deprived and marginalized rural and urban communities by managing and utilizing the available scarce resources in a well-organized, efficient, effective, transparent, and dignified manner to enhance resilience, boost access to education, health services, and infrastructure, ensure food and livelihood security, and promote social protection and inclusion.
ACDO has an active presence in most parts of the country and intends to expand its operations to the remaining provinces, as to transform itself into a leading and developed organization that will deliver to and support large number of people who have been affected by the long-protracted and sudden on-set emergencies and regardless of the hardest circumstances that exist in Afghanistan, ACDO has managed to deliver humanitarian and development assistance in most of country.
Job Description
1. Data Management & Database Administration
- Develop, manage, and update databases for school feeding beneficiaries, distributions, and activities.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all program locations.
- Design and maintain data collection tools (KOBO, Excel, or other MIS platforms).
- Perform regular data cleaning, validation, and verification.
2. Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports in line with donor (WFP) requirements.
- Compile distribution reports, beneficiary statistics, and activity summaries.
- Support preparation of internal and external reports (narrative and quantitative).
- Ensure timely submission of high-quality reports to management and donors.
3. Monitoring & Data Analysis
- Analyze program data to identify trends, gaps, and performance issues.
- Generate dashboards, charts, and visual reports for decision-making.
- Support the MEAL team in monitoring indicators and tracking progress.
4. Coordination & Support
- Coordinate with field teams to ensure timely and accurate data submission.
- Provide technical support and training to staff on data collection tools and reporting formats.
- Liaise with WFP counterparts on reporting formats, templates, and requirements.
5. Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure all data and reports comply with WFP guidelines and organizational standards.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing systems (hard and soft copies).
Ensure data protection, confidentiality, and secure storage of information.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Statistics, Computer Science, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in data management, reporting, or MEAL functions.
- Experience working with School Feeding Programs or WFP-funded projects is highly preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong skills in Excel, KOBO Toolbox, and database management systems.
- Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar, is an asset.
- Excellent report writing skills in English (Pashto/Dari is an advantage).
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Working Conditions:
- Based in Samangan province with regular coordination with field teams
- May require travel to project sites (schools and distribution points)
- Work under tight reporting deadlines, especially during distribution cycles
