Job Description
1. Financial Record Keeping
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Record daily transactions (income, expenses, payments)
- Ensure proper documentation for all financial activities
2. Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Generate balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Present financial data to management for decision-making
- Support financial forecasting and planning
3. Accounts Management
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up when necessary
- Reconcile supplier and customer accounts
4. Cash Management
- Monitor cash flow and ensure sufficient liquidity
- Handle petty cash and cash transactions
- Prepare and process employee salaries
- Ensure accurate deductions (tax, benefits, etc.)
- Maintain payroll records
5. Tax & Compliance
- Calculate and prepare tax returns
- Ensure compliance with government tax regulations
- Coordinate with auditors during internal/external audits
6. Internal Controls
- Implement and maintain financial control systems
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Identify and prevent financial risks or fraud
7. Audit Support
- Prepare documents for audits
- Assist auditors with required financial information
- Address audit findings and recommendations
18. Financial Analysis
- Analyze financial performance and trends
- Provide recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Support strategic financial decisions
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
