Job Description
- The Mission:
We are looking for an entrepreneurial-minded professional who can identify and develop new business opportunities in the local market and scale them toward international markets.
This role is not about writing business plans. Instead, we seek someone who can think strategically, recognize market gaps, and develop profitable business ideas that can grow locally and eventually expand beyond Afghanistan.
The selected candidate will work closely with company leadership to propose new ventures, evaluate their potential, and help launch viable businesses. The company is willing to invest directly in strong and scalable business ideas.
Job Requirements
- Key Deliverables:
- Identify new business opportunities and market gaps in the local market
- Develop innovative business ideas with strong growth potential
- Analyze feasibility, market demand, and competition
- Design strategies to expand successful businesses into regional and international markets
- Present new venture concepts to company leadership
- Support the development and launch of approved ventures
- Monitor market trends and identify long-term growth opportunities
- We Require Proof of Success (Not Just Experience)
• Strong portfolio with at least 3 business plans personally developed that resulted in:
– A funded startup or business venture, OR
– Successful internal approval and implementation, OR
– Securing a loan, investor, or financial support
• Strong financial capability in forecasting, budgeting, and building solid financial models in Excel
• Clear understanding of viable sectors in Afghanistan such as logistics, trade, agriculture, manufacturing, services, and emerging markets
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA is an advantage)
• Good English communication skills for preparing professional business documents and presentations
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate ideas realistically and focus on high-return opportunities
