Job Summary

We are seeking qualified and experienced English ↔ Arabic Translators based in Afghanistan to provide high-quality remote written translation services.

Translation Duties & Responsibilities

• Translate written documents from English to Arabic and Arabic to English accurately and faithfully

• Ensure translations maintain the original meaning, tone, and context

• Proofread and edit translated materials for grammar, clarity, and consistency

• Meet agreed deadlines and manage multiple assignments effectively

• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and documents

• Use translation tools (CAT tools) when required

• Follow organizational terminology guidelines and style preferences

Translator Required Qualifications & Experience

• Fluency in written English and Arabic (advanced reading and writing skills required)

• Minimum 2–3 years of professional translation experience

• Proven experience translating documents for NGOs, humanitarian organizations, legal, medical, or development sectors preferred

• Strong knowledge of grammar, terminology, and cultural nuances in both languages

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Reliable internet connection and remote working capacity
