Job Description:

1. Background

The Maternal and Child Benefit Program (MCBP), the Nutrition-Sensitive Livelihoods (NSL) component, aims to enhance the food security, nutrition, and resilience of vulnerable households in selected districts. The NSL component focuses on building the practical and entrepreneurial capacities of targeted beneficiaries so they can engage in income-generating and nutrition-improving activities that contribute to sustainable household wellbeing.

2. Purpose of the Position

The purpose of this position is to ensure the accurate registration of beneficiaries in the SCOPE system and the efficient, transparent, and timely distribution of food and assistance packages, while maintaining proper documentation, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with donor and organizational standards.
 

 

 

3. Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Conduct SCOPE registration, verify beneficiaries, and maintain accurate registration
  2. Conduct SCOPE registration of beneficiaries and maintain accurate registration records.
  3. Verify beneficiaries’ identity and eligibility using NIDs and distribution cards.
  4. Prepare beneficiary lists and SCOPE registration plans in coordination with WFP and RRDPO.
  5. Implement registration plans and report progress to relevant stakeholders.
  6. Register at least 80 beneficiaries per day and ensure timely data entry into the SCOPE database.
  7. Safely transport food and assistance packages from warehouses to designated distribution sites.
  8. Assist in setting up distribution sites, ensuring all materials and equipment are ready.
  9. Conduct monthly food and assistance distributions fairly, transparently, and respectfully.
  10. Cross-check delivered quantities with distribution lists to ensure accuracy.
  11. Coordinate distribution activities with beneficiaries, community structures, and field teams.
  12. Maintain accurate records of distributed items, beneficiary attendance, and related documentation.
  13. Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly registration and distribution reports to WFP and RRDPO.
  14. Ensure compliance with donor requirements, organizational policies, and SOPs during registration and distribution.
  15. Address beneficiary concerns and resolve challenges during registration and distribution processes.
  16. Perform any additional tasks assigned by RRDPO or project management related to SCOPE registration and distribution

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  1. University diploma in Social Science
  2. Candidates must also have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
  3. Computer skills required, particularly Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  4. Able to work in high-pressure situations 
  5. Able to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work on time
  6. High Level of English language Typing.
  7. Showing good behavior and character with the community members and beneficiaries
  8. Strong communication skills required
  9. Should have a smartphone and the ability to use a smartphone
  10. Ability to travel to various districts in the respective provinces
  11. Data Collection Tools ODK, KOBO

Languages Skills

  1. Pashto: Excellent
  2. Dari: Fluent
  3. English: Good (an asset)
  4. Local Languages of Nuristan: Basic understanding and Communicative level
