Since then, IRA continued providing assistances in emergency relief, food security, livelihood, education, health, nutrition, shelter, orphan sponsorship, Ramadan and Qurbani programmes.

This initiative equips them with the necessary skills to succeed in future positions across various departments, while enhancing their employability in the local job market.

The program focuses on building a talent pool that is well-rounded, strengthening both technical abilities and essential behavioral/life skills. Additionally, it provides young individuals with the chance to refine their skills, share their experiences, and contribute meaningfully in a professional context.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • The community mobilizer is responsible for beneficiary identification, screening, selection and distributing Refreshment to returnees under Returnees 2025 - EAARP-IRUK project in identified locations in Spin Boldak district of Kandahar.
  • Receiving, protecting and distributing refreshments packages in assigned locations.
  • Keeping records of refreshment stock receipt and distribution at field level.  
  • Mobilize the community and beneficiaries and provide them with awareness regarding the project activities.
  • Coordinating Returnees consortium & line stakeholder of the project at Spin Boldak Zero Point, Reception center & sectorial department while needed.
  • Working in preparing data reports related to EAARP projects.
  • Working and supporting IRAF emergency and seasonal programs and assessments.
  • Support the team in planning and organizing community awareness, campaigns, and community mobilization sessions.
  • Engage and mobilize community members in one to one and group sessions.
  • Prepare work plans, schedules, and reports for all activities.
  • Help build the capacity of community organizations by collectively voicing for their prioritized needs, organizing community meetings proceedings and maintaining records.
  • Implement the project activities and ensure safe delivery of the activities as per the project implementation plan.
  • Monitor the progress of daily wage workers under returnee’s project in assigned locations and community members participating in programs and provide regular feedback to the project team.
  • Assist in Monitoring and reporting on the participants' progress, success stories, and challenges.
  • Support the project team in preparing final reports, including lessons learned and recommendations for future interventions.
  • Appropriately planning for visibility of IRW-AF activities in the field.
  • Having presence in the field according to working schedules of Spin Boldak Boarder Consultum.
  • On time reporting on the overall activities being undertaken at the field level to provincial manager.
  • Monitoring and supervision of the activities at the field level and sharing the findings with the field Provincial Manager and relevant staff for improvement.
  • Any other tasks assigned by the line supervisor.

 

 

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree Bachelor’s in Community science, Economics, Agriculture, and another relevant field.

 

Experience:

·      No Experience Required- Fresh Graduate

 

Competency:

  • Ability to work at returnees’ crossing points under Spin Boldak Boarder consortium.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-ethnic team and take on diverse tasks.
  • Familiar with concerned community, geography and culture.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel,)
  • Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to team goals
  • Fresh graduation will be preferred
