About Kanda Fruits Process Company:

Kanda Fruits Process Company (KFPC) is one of the largest fruits and vegetable processing and packaging private limited organizations, in Afghanistan.  A group of different legal entities/projects, called Kanda Group, works jointly in a value addition chain, starting right from farmers to end consumers: Kanda Groups is an umbrella for a number of Afghan companies/projects that have been working in areas of food processing/cold chain facilities, large-scale agricultural complexes, food quality and safety certification, import of agricultural tools and equipment, fumigation of products/places, basket production, and modernization of the agriculture industry in Afghanistan.

KFPC has a considerable volume of business with GCC and Regional countries. We trade Afghan agricultural products on a large scale and are also the franchise of reputable international brands in Afghanistan i.e. Mahindra Mahindra and Fieldking.

Kanda Group extended its area of operation to Canada, USA, and Australia outside the country and to  Kabul, Nangarhar, Herat, Balkh, and other potential markets inside the country.  

Job Description:

Title: Accountant

Location: Kabul, Afghanistan.

Report to: Company CFO.

Responsibilities:

The major task of the Accontant is focused on the following areas:

• Check and review of the financial documents
• Recording the entries to the QuickBook in accordance to the financial procedure of the KFPC;
• Monthly cash count and cash reconciliation;
• Monthly bank reconciliation;
• Account Receivable and Account Payable reconciliation with sub offices and with KFPC clients;
• Tax calculation as per applicable income tax law and regulations;
• Maintaining filing system as per KFPC filing method;
• Collecting financial data (financial transactions, stocks, asset report, MBr consumption report, payments, receipts etc.) for updating the QuickBook;
• Calculating and reconciling employees’ leave record in close coordination with HR officer;
• Other task as assigned by the company.

• Good academic record;
• Previous work experience with a satisfactory performance in the same or similar functional area;
• Good written and spoken Pashto / Dari and English Languages;

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Package & Accounting Programs;
