Job Description
Purpose:
To support procurement processes and manage logistics for timely delivery and distribution of materials and supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and implement the full procurement cycle, including need identification, PRFs, RFQs, bid evaluations, contract management, and delivery confirmation.
- Regularly conduct market surveys and vendor assessments.
- Coordinate transport (vehicles in Kabul and support field offices) and warehousing of goods.
- Maintain procurement documentation and filing.
- Track delivery schedules and follow up with vendors.
- Maintain a current vendor database with pre-qualified suppliers.
- Coordinate customs, permits, and clearance (if needed).
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 4–6 years of direct, full-cycle experience in procurement, logistics, fleet management, or supply chain – NGO experience is required.
- Proven ability to manage vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery.
- Strong budgeting and cost control skills.
- Demonstrated integrity, attention to detail, accountability, and ability to multi-task under pressure.

- Procurement tracking sheet.
- Excellent record-keeping, documentation, and report writing abilities.
- Monthly logistics and delivery report.
