Job Summary

The Fuel Attendant is responsible for providing excellent service and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the campsite's fuel pump. He must ensure the accuracy of fuel fill in and the cleanliness of the fuel pump and surrounding area. Should also be able to respond to crew members enquiries and complaints in a polite and professional manner. The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and possess a good level of physical fitness.

Role Purpose

The purpose of a fuel attendant is to provide efficient and effective service to seismic crew members in fuel provision, such as petrol or diesel, at the campsite petrol station. This includes operating the pumps, managing refuels, and providing advice and assistance to the campsite administration in terms of fuel usage and requirements. The attendant is also responsible for ensuring that the station is clean and safe for client/company crew, as well as monitoring and stocking fuel supplies.

Duties

• Be courteous and friendly towards colleagues
• Provide the administration with information about fuel products and other services
• Handle all fuel stocking and supplies accurately
• Check the users, e.g. drivers and crew members record the refuels in the odometer log sheet accurately
• Check fluid levels and tire pressures
• Refuel vehicles
• Clean windscreens
• Carry out basic vehicle checks

• Provide excellent client service when serving clients at the fuel pumps
• Carry out regular checks and maintenance on fuel pumps
