Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in both design and implementation of mechanical systems and projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing mechanical designs, overseeing execution on-site, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects within budget, timeline, and quality standards

 

Job Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the design of mechanical systems such as HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), water supply and wastewater piping, fire sprinkler and standpipe systems, and mechanical installations, ensuring compliance with international codes and standards.
  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, bills of quantities (BOQs), and technical documentation in accordance with project requirements and standards
  • Collaborate with architects, electrical engineers, and civil engineers throughout the design and execution phases to ensure interdisciplinary coordination and project integration
  • Supervise the on-site implementation and installation of mechanical systems to ensure compliance with design intent, safety regulations, and quality standards
  • Perform on-site inspections and provide technical guidance throughout construction and commissioning to ensure quality control and alignment with project specifications
  • Conduct detailed calculations, simulations, and technical analyses to validate mechanical system performance, safety, and long-term reliability
  • Select appropriate materials, components, and equipment for mechanical systems based on project specifications, performance criteria, and industry standards
  • Manage project schedules and coordinate procurement processes and contractor activities to ensure timely and efficient project execution

  • Ensure adherence to local codes, international standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, ISO, IPC, IMC. IFGC), and best engineering practices throughout design and implementation phases
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and propose effective, practical solutions to minimize downtime and maintain system performance
  • Prepare and present detailed progress reports to management and clients, highlighting project status, key milestones, and potential risks.
  • Other task that refers on behalf of line manager as per project requirement.

Qualifications:

  • At least Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum [7- 10] years of experience in mechanical project design and implementation.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit,  similar design tools.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, standards, and construction methods.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and lead site teams
