Job Description
- Develop and deliver training programs on beekeeping, hive management, and honey production.
- Train local beekeepers and community members in sustainable beekeeping practices, including disease prevention and pest control.
- Conduct workshops and hands-on demonstrations on hive construction, maintenance, and honey harvesting techniques.
- Provide guidance on modern apiculture techniques to improve productivity and quality of honey.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with sustainable and ethical beekeeping practices.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to training activities.
Job Requirements
Language Skills: Fluent in Dari and Pashto
Computer Skills: Proven working knowledge of Windows XP, Auto Cad, Word and Excel, e-mail communication.
Technical Skills: At least 3 years’ experience in revelant field.
Team work: Ability to work in a team, often under stressful conditions, with both International and national staff.
Communication: Excellent communication skills in English, Dari and Pashto, Having excellent verbal translation skills, Strong negotiation skills.
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in agriculture.
Personal Skills:
Ability to work without direct supervision.
Ability to work efficiently in situations where tasks and circumstances change and to be flexible and adaptable both in terms working hours and environment.
Cultural Skills: Ability to work with persons from differing countries and cultural backgrounds.
Personal Attributes: Politeness, Pleasant and Friendly disposition, Attention to detail, Initiative, Punctuality, Honesty, Diligence.
Additional Attributes: Keep under all circumstances a professional working attitude
