Job Descriptions:

Summary of Key Functions

Create comprehensive plan for teaching and courses
Organize and prepare classroom teaching materials, activities and coursework
Demonstrate required skills of teaching including reading, writing, and speaking
Keep proper record of staff attending the class, result of their tests, quizzes and home works
Strictly ensure that CARE policies, code of contacts and official behaviours are observed during the employment with CARE.

KEY RESULT EXPECTED

The English Teacher is responsible for creating a learning environment for CARE employee’s and teach the English language with the new skills, methodologies and teaching materials.  S/he needs to use the advanced Books, Audio and Videos, practical and reading materials. During the course of his/her employment s/he is expected to focus on delivering the following key results:

4.1 Comprehensive Plan for teaching:

Develop a compresence plan for teaching the complete course
Share the plan with the HR supervisor and update her about the implementation and progress of the plan frequently
Create a practical plan for class activities, assignments and home works
Plan the tests, quizzes on the required times
Inform the HR supervisor in advance about any change in the plan or planning any activities that requires materials

 Organize and prepare Teaching materials

Prepare the teaching materials using in the class in advance
Use the most usable and practical contents and materials during the teaching that enable the staff to learn the Language easily and in short-period of time
Organize some practical events and sessions in the class that enhance the interest of staff to the topics

Demonstrate new skills and teaching methods:

Utilize the new skills of teaching
Provide candid feedbacks to the employees about their learnings, active participation, assignments and home work
 Demonstrate the advance methods of teaching and engaging the students
Motivate and encourage the students for self-studies and enhancing knowledge
Use the advance learning materials (Audio, Video and self-reading) during the class

Keep Proper Record of attendance and Progress:

Keep the record the staff attending the class
Report any absentees of the staff from the class or coming frequently late to the class to HR Supervisor
Prepare are submit a detail report of staff attendance and completion of the course to the HR supervisor
Keep track record of students’ progress and successes.

Strictly abide to CARE policies and Code of Conducts:

This is the prime responsibility to ensure that during the employment with CARE, CARE policies and Code of conduct are adhered and respected
Do not commit or involve in any act that is in contradiction to CARE polices
Strictly consider the confidentiality about staff and organization premises
Any minor offense can result to the immediate dismissal of the employment with CARE
Maintain a good and official behaviour during the work with CARE.

Education and Experience:

Education: University graduate or English Language diploma from a reputed institution.

Work Experience: Minimum 5 years teaching experience in an English institute. 

Languages: Fluency in spoken and written English, Pashtu and Dari is a requirement.
