Job Descriptions:

Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the Reporting Officer (RO) will dedicate 100% of his/her time analyzing data, drafting and preparing regularly reports. The Reporting Officer’s primary role is gathering data, reviewing and analyzing data, and drafting qualitative and quantitative reports, as well as capacitating staff and ensuring the optimal flow of information at the Project Centre. Analyze and synthesize data

  • Liaise closely with all Units in order to gather and collate accurate data.
  • Write weekly, monthly, mid-year, and final year performance reports.
  • Supports in drafting documents, lessons learnt, best practices, case studies, success stories as shared by the Project Manager or as captured during field visits.
  • Supports the Project teams in drafting external and internal reports, including donor reports.
  • Work closely with Information Management, where applicable, to ensure accurate and effective data presentation, graphics and maps.
  • Compile, consolidate, and analyze data on the project’s implementation and indicators.
  • Contribute to and edit donor reports in order to ensure a high standard of reporting.
  • Gather and evaluate relevant data for reports.
  • Select, manage, and acquire resources (Hard/soft copy) to meet current & anticipated needs.
  • Oversee data lifecycle: organizing, sharing, collecting, validating, archiving, storing & reporting.
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities & procedures.
  • Train field staff and colleagues on reporting and data analysis.
  • Conduct oral and written translation duly (Arabic to English and vice versa) whenever required.
  • Create info graphics, interactive maps and other communication material as needed.
  • Stay overtime when required.
  • Ensure maintenance of both qualitative and quantitative data
  • Timely preparation of good quality project reports/reports of the program activities as required and as per schedule for internal use, donors and beneficiaries.
  • Perform any other needed duties as directed by program manager or KHRW Head office.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, management, English Literature or any related field and master degree will be preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in reporting, communications, public relations, project development, visualization and report writing. 
  • Conceptual analytical and evaluation skills to conduct independent research and analysis.
  • Computer literate and proficiency in MS office software
  • Oral and written fluency in English
  • Written English and Dari/Pashto is mandatory.
