VDO is an independent, non-profit, non-political and non-governmental organization established in January 07, 2015. The organization is composed with a strong and committed team to respond to the needs of Afghanistan. VDO’s special concentration on project implementation is impact- centered approach and VDO ‘s team is committed to work for the welfare and progress of society and the vulnerable people. VDO ‘s efforts focus on changing mentalities and attitudes about women’s participation and contribution in the society. Not only, it also focuses on economic development, advocacy, research and girl’s education.

• Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage target communities.
• Identify and build relationships with community leaders, local organizations, and other stakeholders.
• Organize awareness campaigns, community meetings, and events to promote project objectives.
• Collect community feedback and report on participation, challenges, and opportunities for program improvement.
• Support field teams in mobilizing participants for education and development activities.
• Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, community interactions, and engagement metrics.
• Collaborate with program teams to ensure outreach aligns with project goals and donor requirements.
• Any other tasks assigned by the project manager, as required.

• Degree in Social Work, Community Development, Education, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in community outreach, engagement, or field mobilization in NGOs.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
• Knowledge of community engagement strategies and participatory approaches.
• Ability to work in diverse and remote field environments.

Deliverables:

• Outreach plans and activity reports.
• Records of community engagement, meetings, and events.
• Community feedback reports and recommendations for program improvement.
• Evidence of increased community participation and awareness of project activities.
