Job Descriptions:

  • Maintain accurate records of project expenditures, receipts, and financial transactions.
  • Prepare financial reports, statements, and reconciliations for management and donors.
  • Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure adherence to approved budget lines.
  • Assist in financial planning and forecasting for project activities.
  • Process payments, advances, and reimbursements for staff and vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and donor regulations.
  • Support audits and provide required documentation to auditors and management.
  • Any other tasks assigned by the Project manager & Finance manager as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in finance or accounting in NGO projects.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting procedures, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.
  • Attention to detail, analytical skills, and integrity in handling financial data.

Deliverables:

  • Timely and accurate financial reports and statements.
  • Updated financial records, ledgers, and reconciliations.
  • Compliance with donor and organizational financial requirements.
  • Financial forecasts and budget tracking reports.
