The architectural and structural design and construction supervision of Gulbahar Plaza as a new commercial residential complex at the Airport Main Road in Microyan Destrict, in Kabul-Afghanistan.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Drafter to support our engineering and architectural teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, revising, and managing technical drawings using AutoCAD and other design tools. The CAD Drafter will play a key role in translating design concepts and sketches into accurate technical plans for construction and fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting & Design Support: Develop detailed architectural, structural, and MEP drawings based on project requirements and engineer/architect instructions.
• Drawing Revisions: Modify existing drawings and update design documentation based on feedback or field changes.
• Drawing Management: Maintain organized and version-controlled drawing files with proper naming conventions and tags.
• Technical Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, architects, and site teams to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with design standards.
• Documentation: Support the preparation of drawing sets, shop drawings, and as-built plans.
• Standard Compliance: Ensure that all drawings follow company and industry drafting standards and procedures.
• Visual Presentation (Optional): Create 2D and basic 3D visualizations or presentation boards to support design intent if required.

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Drafting Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a CAD Draftsman in construction, architecture, or engineering projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit or SketchUp is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with local and international drawing standards.
• Good organizational and file management skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with site measurement and creating as-built drawings.
• Understanding of construction phases and documentation flow.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Basic knowledge of design visualization tools such as Photoshop or Lumion is a plus.
