Job Descriptions:

Collect, manage and report all the information during implementation of the project in relevant districts with different themes in consultation with the activity manager/coordinators.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical M&E support to ensure accurate data is collected and inserted into project monitoring tool for on-going monitoring of project performance
  • Develop and update project performance and quality monitoring and tracking tools and communicate findings or concerns to project managers
  • Prepare the Beneficiaries tracking sheet and maintain/ update on monthly basis
  • Support project teams in documentation of success stories and lessons learned
  • Actively participate in the project weekly and monthly planning sessions and tracking the progress
  • In collaboration with other team members, actively contribute to build the capacity of field staff on data collection, reporting, FGDs etc.
  • Carry out regular data collection and ensure quality of the data by random verification, validations and cross matching
  • Record, manage and preserve monitoring data in a safe and accessible way
  • Discuss with Project Managers and Senior Management Team for best understanding of different donor agency’s report requirements
  • Ensure that implementation of field activities adhere to INTERSOS and donor agency’s policies, strategies and requirements
  • Support INTERSOS management team to conduct assessment surveys and research initiatives
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor within the scope of work

Job Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Monitoring and evaluation or other relevant field.

  • 3 years’ experience in working with INGOs with relevant community development/training and capacity building focus;
  • Experience in training, community consultation, and systems development;
  • Understanding and familiarity with data management;
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Packages, and in particular Excel and Word;
  • Excellent report writing, communication (written and verbal) skills, and strong IT skills;
  • Experience in facilitating focus group discussions with local communities and reporting.
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills;

 

 

Other requirements:

  • Excellent written and spoken Pashto and Dari;
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Availability to overnight for one or more night, escorted by family Maharam (if needed), in the INTERSOS field bases.
  • Strong team spirit, comfortable in a multi-cultural environment
  • Excellent analytical skills, observation and analysis capacity
  • Attention to detail and structured way of approaching tasks
  • Ability to plan ahead and output oriented
