Job Descriptions:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, budget and other financial transactions.
  • Co-manage the Finance Department and provides training and guidance to junior employees.
  •   Co-manage and coordinate various units’ portfolio, including budget development, reconciliation, compliance, forecasting, variance analysis, financial processing and monitoring of budgets.
  • Contract outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs as necessary.
  • Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement.
  • Oversee and monitors payroll processing, taxes and regulatory reporting to ensure timely, accurate processing and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Seek out methods for minimizing financial risk to the company.
  • Preparation of financial reports and tracking day-to-day financial transactions.
  • Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.
  • Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports.
  • Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings and prepare P&L of projects and shareholders.
  • Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software (Prefer QuickBooks) to be used for financial purposes.
  • Co-develop and implements effective accounting strategies, policies and procedures to meet strategic planning initiatives and goals. 
  • Evaluates and analyzes functions, resources, processes and procedures to identify issues and recommend amendments for improvement;
  •  Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
  • Maintain appropriate business relations with departments, auditors, and various other outside agencies/parties to facilitate positive working relations.
  • Maintain proper record of company invoices, expenses, JV’s and accrual entries.
  • Bank reconciliation of TM4 local banks and foreign banks on daily basis.
  • Active participation in preparation of financial proposal and technical proposal of RFQ’s and RFP’s with company technical advisor and Team4’s Country Director for Afghanistan.
  • Draft and prepare budget for various proposals/RFQs depending on the nature of the proposals.
  • Maintain the financial health of the organization.
  • Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
  • Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances.
  • Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
  • Any other official task assigned by CEO
