Job Descriptions:

General Management:

  • Manage the finance team and supervise all the financial and accounting activities.
  • Ensure that the financial activities are implemented on-time and meet the organization objectives.
  • Manage the regular on-job couching and capacity building for the finance team.
  • Ensure that the accountability obligations are delegated and carried out in accordance with the policies and procedures of Gulzad Group.
  • Serve as a member of the Senior Management Team and will facilitate to contribute to the senior management meeting and decision making.

 

Finance Management:

  • Develop and oversee the implementation of a comprehensive financial management system in line with the policies and procedures and according to the general accepted accounting principles.
  • Maintain proper books of accounts and ensure timely monthly closure, and submission of financial reports to the CEO. 
  • Oversee daily accounting functions including data entry, cash counts, and bank reconciliations and document processes.
  • Work with relevant staffs regarding compliance with procurement requirements and cash flow projections according to the activities implementation plan and needs.
  • Check for reasonableness and accuracy of all financial information and documentation.
  • In collaboration with relevant staffs, plan and manage all audits – including development and close-out of any action plans that address audit recommendations. Ensure financial records are up-to-date and ready for auditors.
  • Preparing monthly and quarterly basis financial analytical report
  • Preparation, review and consolidation of financial reports in close coordination Relevant top management and CEO. Ensure that systems are in place to monitor expenses on quarterly basis .
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for management, tax authorities and other stakeholders
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations including A/R, A/P, payroll, expense reporting etc.
  • Provides annual budgets of expenditure as well as quarterly forecasts against budget statements (accruals,pipelines, etc.) as applicable.

Coordination:

  • Coordinate the financial issues and information with the CEO, Project Manager and other department as per requirements.
  • Attend the internal coordination meetings and advise on financial matters.
  • Liaise with the suppliers and customers on behalf of the Gulzad Group regarding the issues of compliance, financial reporting, and tax clearances.
  • Any other relevant duties as agreed with the supervisor.
  • Oversees the reporting of expenses by regional offices

     

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

  •  Master’s degree in the fields of Business and administration, Economics, ACCA or Equivalent degree with 5 years related working experience or Bachelor Degree with 7 years related experience.
