Just for Afghan Capacity and Knowledge (JACK) is an independent, non-governmental, non-Profit, non-Political and non-Sectarian Organization working in Afghanistan since 2001 in the areas of health, nutrition, education, development and emergency with an aim at improving livelihoods and alleviating poverty. And JACK had the experiences of working in various provinces and zones of Afghanistan.

JACK registered under the Ministry of Economy with registration number, 316. The organization works in Collaboration with other line Ministries, NGOs, INGOs, and donor communities.

The mandate of JACK is to improve lives of the people we touch through our programs. We strive to have a community that is empowered, participates in its development and is able to use the resources available to them to get what they want.  We work to assist communities in their efforts that lead them to self- help and in essence self- reliance that comes with economic and social independence.

• Registering and recording the history and treatment of general surgery patients based on the existing guidelines and forms in an authentic and real way.
• Responsible for completing necessary pre-operation examinations.
• Responsible for obtaining consent from the patient or the patient's relatives before performing the operation.
• Strict control of hygiene conditions in daily practice.
• Care of patients after surgery.
• If there are protocols and norms, he/she is responsible for their implementation and if these protocols and norms are not available, he/she is responsible for developing such protocols in the hospital.
• Active participation in the design and implementation of workplace and in-service training programs in the hospital.
• Actively improving the level of knowledge and awareness about current best practices and national guidelines.
• To perform major and minor general surgical procedures adhering to regulatory and ethical protocols.
• To follow established surgical techniques.
• To look after pre-operative and post-operative patients
• To be in charge of General Surgery Operating Room
• To coordinate with other consultants/ superspecialists for treating patients in a collective manner.
• To conduct periodic clinical audit.
• Shall follow the hospital board regularities.
• To follow medical legal regularities and medical ethics

• MD Graduation from one of the well-known faculties of medicine and specialized in general surgery.
• 03 Years practical experience of performing general surgical procedures independently.
• Fluency in verbal and written Pashto, Dari and English Language is required.
