Job Descriptions:

Job Purpose : 

MD/ activities at the BHA-SCI province (Sarepul)

Main Duties & Responsibilities : 

  • To perform emergency first care if needed.
  • Under direct management of the senior Health Officer the Medical Doctor/Nurse is responsible for the following main activities to ensure the provision of quality OPD.
  • Dispensing of Rational Medicines usage to patients in SHC.
  • Provide medicine/medical supply monthly consumption reports regularly.
  • Provide all monthly reports according to the HMIS tools.
  • Ensure the patients triage registration and measurements of viral signs.
  • Dressing and first aid care of injured patients if needed.
  • Recording and reporting of beneficiaries or patient regularly.
  • Identify any patient in need of urgent care and refer them immediately to the equipped Health Center.
  • Register any patient coming to seek care in the registration book.
  • Respect IMC standards of procedures for referral and stabilization of patients.
  • Take part in the management of pharmaceutical goods and medical equipment.
  • Accompany patients to the external referral HF when required.
  • Any other activity assigned by line Supervisor.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications : 

  1. Medical Degree from recognized medical Faculty.

       2- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Dari and Pashto.

Experience : 

At least 1 year of working experience in health field BPHS NGOs

Competency : 

  • Good knowledge and experience midwifery activities
  • Good knowledge and experience of Health and nutrition training delivery.
  • Excellent reputation/well-known Desirable.
  • Capacity to perform effectively under pressure and harsh conditions; ability to handle confidential and politically sensitive issues in a responsible and mature manner.
  • Excellent capacity development and teamwork skills; cross-cultural and gender sensitivity.
  • The candidate will be able to travel hard to reach districts of the target province.
  • The candidate will have good human and communication skills.
